Are You Rich?

Where is your treasure?

It’s a wonderful thing to know you are rich. Do you know it? Did you know that there is a heavenly bank account in your name? Have you withdrawn from it? Or are you afraid to believe that it is true? Do you sit in doubt and fear? There are so many treasures waiting for you! That is my inspiration for blogging. Why live like a pauper when you already own incredible riches! Come do some treasure hunting with me!

Treasure Hunt

Wouldn’t it be exciting to be on a treasure hunt knowing that if you are successful you will have a billion dollars! Can’t you feel your heart thumping with the excitement? All you have to do is figure out the clues on the treasure map and beat everyone else to it! Well, I have a much more exciting treasure hunt for you.

Treasure hunt

God has incredible treasures that He wants us to have. Many of them have great value now and that value will increase in eternity. The beauty of it is that these treasures are available to everyone. You don’t have to have special qualifications. But you do have to do some things to find them, to make them your own. How exciting though that every treasure you find you can share with someone else, and they can have just as much of it without diminishing any of yours! So this treasure hunt is not about beating other people out of the prize. As a matter of fact our treasure increases as we help others find treasure too.

Search for Hidden Treasures!

However, this is not an automatic treasure. Do you remember the story of the Israelites and how God delivered them out of Egypt? It was a wonderful deliverance. But when they came to the Promised Land, their hearts failed within them. God had promised this land to them, but it was going to take faith and action to actually lay hold of all the riches that were in that land. As it was true for them so it is true for the treasures Christ has for us. Many of them we have to search for, dig for, sometimes fight for them! But they are there for us!

So, how are we going to find these treasures, the ones that outlast this life? Well, God has put us into a unique time of history when all of us have a treasure map available!

God’s Word is the greatest tool we will ever have for finding the treasures God has for us. In there you will learn about His wonderful promises, the “diamond” of hope, the “ruby” of joy, the “emerald” of peace. And many more “gems” which He holds out to us. You will find His silver and gold as you search out new understanding about these magnificent treasures. Why am I picturing these spiritual treasures this way? Every one of these gems, as well as gold and silver, are not only valuable, but they require a lot of effort to get them. It means digging down into the earth and searching diligently for them. People have died trying to get these earthly treasures because they were so bent on being rich. What effort are you willing to put into being spiritually rich?

I want to challenge you to spend time EVERY DAY using your “map” and searching for God’s treasures. He has incredible jewels and delights for you. But He wants you to take the time to find them yourself. How badly do you want to be rich? Spiritually rich. Rich with treasures that will last throughout all eternity.

As you dig deeper into your Bible and pick up pearls and delights along the way, you will be following a map that will lead you to greater and greater riches. They are actually innumerable! Come along with me as we explore some of this wealth and how it can be yours.

The Unsearchable Riches of Jesus Christ

I have been made a messenger of this wonderful news by the gift of grace that works through me. Even though I am the least significant of all his holy believers, this grace-gift was imparted when the manifestation of his power came upon me. Grace alone empowers me so that I can boldly preach this wonderful message to non-Jewish people, sharing with them the unfading, inexhaustible riches of Christ, which are beyond comprehension.

Ephesians 3:7-8 (TPT)

As endless as the stars in the sky–treasures, riches–that God is longing for you to explore–to give yourself to.

We have beauty all around us. Even in nature what God has created seems endless. Why would His spiritual treasures not be without end?

Okay! Let’s try this!
